Bethany woke up to the smell of waffles toasting and bacon sizzling  on the stove. She ran to the fridge and got a cold glass of orange juice. When she got  to the table she devoured her food so quick that it almost didn’t have enough time to digest. After breakfast she went to the tree to find lots of presents with wrapping paper glowing in the morning sun! When her parents gave her permission she ripped the wrapping paper off her first present. After she opened all her presents she got in a warm shower before going to her great,great papaws farm for sled riding with her friend Sarah and her cousins!  When Bethany got outside she felt her  body temperature go down so she decided to go get her big snow coat to warm up.  When she got outside she ran to the car where her mom and dad were waiting to go to the farm. When they finally got to the farm she got out of the car and got her sled from the trunk. When she was walking up to the big sled riding hill she saw her friend Sarah and gave her a big hug! Bethany asked what happened to your coat it was big but now it fits you just right.Sarah said I washed it and it shrunk to my size so now it fits perfect! Bethany’s cousins weren’t there yet but their moms said they would be there in about 10 minutes. Sarah had a two person sled with little foot breaks so Bethany and Sarah decided to go on her sled first.  When they got to the top of the huge hill they looked down and saw the frozen pond at the bottom then waved to their parents climbing the hill. Bethany sat in the front and Sarah sat in the back of the sled.  They counted down from 10 and when they got to 1 they pushed off. They were having so much fun with snow flying all around them and in their faces. They did that for a little longer until their cousins got to the farm.  Bethany ran up to them and introduced them to Sarah. After that they sled rode until 4:00 in the afternoon. After sled riding Bethany’s cousins came over and they spent the night playing with their new toys and watching the fire in the fire place and eating a big feast with the rest of the family. They stayed up till about 3:00 am and had the best Christmas ever!!!            Chemical changes are red and physical are blue.

This is a really cool book I found on Mrs. Kreb’s blog. I wanted to post this on my blog because it is very inspiring and tells very cool phrases on how to live your life the right way and not in fear. I really hope you read this because it really will change your mind on living your life the right way and not fearing.

My element that I picked is oxygen. I picked oxygen because it interested me to think that every minute of our lives we breathe it in. About one fifth of the atmosphere is made of oxygen gas. The third most abundant element in the sun is Oxygen. If you burn oxygen it is responsible for the bright green,red and yellow colors in the aurora. About two thirds of the human body is oxygen. When oxygen is liquid or solid the color of the oxygen is pale blue and it is very paramagnetic. If the earth didn’t have oxygen we would die because we wouldn’t be able to breathe. Dolphins are mammals that live in the water. They breath through their blowhole and make all kinds of noises through it. They are very smart and intelegant animals. When they are fed fish they do not chew it at all they swallow their food whole. They can swim to speeds up to 25 miles per hour. The normal age dolphins live to is 20 to 25 years old. The oldest dolphin is 58 years old and is still alive today. When dolphins live in a aquarium the dolphin trainers have to monitor the dolphins food, weight and their health. They also have to take blood from the dolphins just like when you go to the doctors office to get blood drawn. They draw the blood from a big vain in their tail. They weigh the dolphins by having them hop up to a flat surface onto a scale. If the dolphin is hurt or not trained to jump up to the flat surface they get them into a stretcher type thing and hook the stretcher onto a hanging scale. The reason for someone that had fainted was not enough oxygen got to their brain.If you pass out for a brief time and come back with a quick recovery it is medically termed syncope.Usually at a third population of your life you will have a syncope moment.You can also pass out  if you are healthy.There is a term called an isolated faint,they are nothing to worry about usually.An isolated faint is where you have episodes of repedatly fainting,this should require further health investigation.Here are some symptoms you may have before you faint;feeling nausea,feeling weak,your ear may ring,you may have a warm feeling and you may feel lightheaded.

The reason pink flamingos are pink is because their diet.When they are born they are white but once they start to eat grass and the other things they eat it eventually turns their fur pink.I learned this information in the safari in disney world.Flamingos must be in a area where there is grass because if they don’t have grass they will eventually die.When flamingos start to eat grass they become a very light pink color.When they keep eating the grass their fur gets darker pink.

Hiccups occur when a spasm cotracts the diaphragm,causing an intake of breath that is suddenly stopped by the closure of the vocal cords also known as glottis.  The closure of the vocal cords causes the silly hiccup sound.

My name is Grace.There is alot of things about me to know.One of the best things is I love to ski.I have been to Breckinridge and Vail Colorado.I also have been to many other places and currently have a gold pass to perfect north.I have a rabbit,dog,cat,guinea pig and two water frogs.My favorite color is pink because it’s a very pretty color(in my opinion).I also know how to snowboard and like it vey much.My mom is learning how to ski and my dad skiis the big hills with me!
